Feed automations

A feed automation posts every new main-page post from one X account.

A feed automation posts every new main-page post from one X account.

Trigger

Every 5 seconds, the bot checks the account for new main-page posts. Replies and reposts are not announced.

Up to 3 new posts announce per check. If more turn up, the newest 3 send first and the rest wait for the next check.

Setup

Setup, in order

  1. Open Dashboard → Beta → Automations with the bot selected.
  2. Click Add and pick Posts from Feed in the Which automation? picker.
  3. Enter the X handle. The dashboard looks it up and shows the account's name and avatar, or says the handle is invalid, not found on X, or private.
  4. Pick the destination group from Posts in group… — only groups already authorized for the bot are listed.
  5. Optional: write the message, upload or link an image, set the link label and position, add buttons.
  6. Click Create.
  7. Optional, from the saved automation's card: open the Topics icon to route its messages into a forum topic, or the Recap icon to add a scheduled recap.
